Gao’s works include performance, installation, video, and any medium that can express her ideas. Her works have been exhibited many times in different city, such as Chicago and London are highly conceptual. She pays attention to the common living conditions of the masses in contemporary society and tries to explore eternity with the moment.
During the creative process, she is good at rearranging everyday things and giving them new narrative meaning. Perhaps the story starts out as personal, but ends up being an open-ended imagination about the relationship between the world and humans.
